Alfama II is a lovely two bedroom apartment with twin beds. One of these bedrooms has an en suite bathroom with bathtub. There is a second bathroom in the corridor with shower adjacent to the other bedroom. Both beds in each room can be easily united as a double bed. The living area is decorated with mural paintings around the windows, which resemble typical Portuguese tiles. The windows open onto a narrow street and you can sit at the window and chat to your neighbour like locals often do!
At Alfama II visitors enjoy a terrace at the back of the house, decorated with garden furniture and a swing chair - a quiet space for entertaining or enjoying a meal.
The spacious kitchen includes a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine in the apartment. At guests disposal the apartment is equipped with high speed Internet access, DVD player and cable TV. There is air conditioning and heating in each room and the apartment is equipped with a security alarm. Parking is available for a small fee and must be reserved in advance.
Many interesting sites are within walking distance including Castelo de São Jorge, miradouro Santa Luzia, Feira da Ladra market and the National Pantheon. The famous 28 tram stops just at your door. This is a one of a kind location in the heart of the city, where you truly can live like locals do!
